About Geet
Geet Potdar is an A Level student with a long-standing interest in international relations, diplomacy and public policy. She has represented India at the United Nations twice, worked on policy through the Harvard Undergraduate International Relations Scholars Program, and taken part in many national and international conferences on global affairs. Outside MUN, she founded Diplovate, which teaches international relations to visually impaired students through an audio-based curriculum. The project is funded by the International Baccalaureate’s Global Youth Action Fund.
Geet has been both a delegate and a conference organiser, and sees Model United Nations as a place to build diplomacy, leadership and critical thinking. As Secretary-General, she wants AMUN to be professional, academically serious and open to everyone, and she wants every delegate to leave challenged, inspired and with skills they will use well beyond committee.

About Niharika
I’m the Joint Secretary General of AMUN 8.0. I’ve done MUN at national and international level, represented India abroad, and served on several Executive Boards and in other leadership roles. What I want from this conference is real diplomacy, careful thinking and conversations that go somewhere.
I try to live by the line “you, who can fly, to whatever ends you do not yield.” I hope delegates at AMUN question convention, argue with conviction and find the confidence to go further than they thought they could.

About Aarya

As Director General, I get to help build AMUN 8.0 from the ground up, and I’m honoured to. I’ve spent five years on the MUN circuit, as a delegate and on several Secretariats, and I’ve learned that a good conference depends on the people, the preparation and the purpose behind it as much as on the debate. Those years, and the Best Delegate and High Commendation awards along the way, shaped how I think about leadership, teamwork and responsibility.
This year I’ll be working with the rest of the Secretariat to make sure every part of AMUN 8.0 is done with care, from the committees and their academic content to the work that happens behind the scenes. A conference like this takes everyone, and I’m excited to help lead it.

About Preet
Hi, I’m Preet. I spent years in committee as a delegate, so I know what a conference feels like from your side, and which small details make it worth remembering. Now that I’m working behind the scenes, I want every delegate to feel supported and every committee to run smoothly.
Outside MUN, I own a home bakery and founded a student-led initiative. Both taught me how much I enjoy turning an idea into something people get to experience.

About Janhavee
I’ve done MUNs as a delegate, as an Executive Board member and on the Organising Committee, so I’ve seen conferences from a few different sides. Representing at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna and going on several international exchange programmes changed how I see the world and got me interested in global issues.
Outside MUN, I love working with people, whether that’s leading a team, organising an event or just having a good conversation. I’m also into the arts, travelling and trying new things. I used to skate at state level and I still play a lot of sport, and both taught me discipline and teamwork.
As USG Delegate Affairs, I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and doing everything I can to make your AMUN one to remember.

About Shakir
I’m Shakir Choudhary, Under-Secretary-General for Delegate Affairs at AMUN 8.0. I’ve been a delegate, a Chairperson and an organiser, and MUN is what got me into diplomacy and global affairs. I represented my school at the United Nations Office in Vienna, where I spoke on digital and cyber diplomacy.
I want to become a Chartered Accountant, and I’m also interested in global policy and leadership. At AMUN 8.0 I’ll be putting delegates first and staying organised, so that your conference runs smoothly and is worth remembering.

Alongside academics, I’ve been doing diplomacy through MUNs and staying active through sports that build coordination as much as strength. I’m also a big reader and researcher, and I always want to know more. I’m always trying to be better than I was yesterday, and I’m looking forward to AMUN being another experience I learn from.

About Muskan
Model United Nations, leadership programmes and international exchanges are where I’ve learned to lead and get things done. I’ve been a delegate, an Executive Board member, an Organising Committee member and a Chair at several conferences, and along the way I’ve got good at organising, communicating, working in a team and coordinating events.
As Under-Secretary-General for Event Management, my job is to turn plans into something that actually happens. That means careful planning, adjusting when things change and putting in the work, so the whole conference runs smoothly for every delegate.

About Shehrebanu
I started out chairing Model United Nations conferences, which taught me to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet and keep a session on track when things got unpredictable. Representing at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna showed me diplomacy up close, and how much precision goes into running events at that scale.
Since then I’ve managed many conferences and events, and each one has made me better at planning, adapting and delivering. To me, good event management is mostly about what happens before anyone is on stage: a lot of small decisions and details, and a team that gets them right.

About Rashi
I think every good story is really about people. I like real conversations, working with people who think things through, and connections that aren’t forced. I’ve done four MUNs in the past year and won a Best Journalist award, and each conference has changed how I communicate and connect with people. I hope to leave every place and every person a little better than I found them. Excited for what’s ahead!
Siya Wadhwa

About Siya
Siya has taken part in more than four Model United Nations conferences and won Best Delegate and High Commendation awards. She has served as a Vice Chair and in OC Delegate Affairs, and is now USG Finance and Logistics.
She plans carefully and works well with others, and she has handled budgeting, sponsorships, logistics, delegate management and event coordination. Her interest in diplomacy goes beyond MUN. She represented youth on a visit to the United Nations Office at Geneva, where she attended Geneva Peace Week and visited the International Labour Organization and the Permanent Mission of India to the UN.
She is interested in finance, business management, luxury brand management and marketing, and thinks good leadership comes down to teamwork, adaptability and attention to detail.
Aditi Dembda

About Aditi
Aditi Dembda is a Grade 12 Science student with a creative, curious and careful streak. She has experience in Model United Nations, editorial design and digital media, and believes good design makes communication clearer and everything around it better.
She works well with others and pays close attention to detail. For AMUN she handles design and organisation behind the scenes, from making the visuals to managing the creative work.
